About the AI Visibility Checker
What it actually checks
- It builds a short, verified profile of your business from the public record and your own website, so it knows what a right answer looks like.
- It then asks real, current AI models about your business cold, with no hints, the way a customer would: who you are, what you do, where you are.
- Each answer is graded against the profile: known, half-known, or never heard of you. The grades become a 0–100 visibility score.
- It uses live models from more than one provider, so one model’s blind spot doesn’t decide the result.
How to read your result
- A low score is not a judgement on your business. It means the models have too little consistent, readable text about you to answer from.
- What moves the score is boring and real: clear, factual words on your own site about what you do, where and for whom; the same name, place and trade across directories, reviews and the registers; and third parties writing about you.
- Anyone promising to “get you recommended by ChatGPT” is selling something that cannot be guaranteed. There are no paid placements in these answers.
- The check is rate-limited because each run asks real models real questions. Leave an email for the fix plan; members get a monthly read and alerts when an answer changes.

- Which AIs does it ask?
- Current general-purpose models from more than one provider, asked cold and graded the same way. We don’t name versions on the page because they change; the result tells you what each one said.
- Can I pay to be recommended?
- No, and neither can anyone else. AI assistants answer from what they’ve read. The only route is to be clearly and consistently described on the readable web, which is also what makes a good website.
- How often should I check?
- Models update on their own schedules, and your public record changes as reviews and mentions accumulate. Monthly is sensible; membership does it for you and alerts you if an answer changes.
